Carry on marketing approach of “mini drama series + travel experiences”

MGTO has been branding the destination through innovative initiatives in recent years. Last year (2025), MGTO became the first cultural tourism account to debut mini drama series on TikTok, drawing wide attention to the Indonesian and Thai dramas rich in fantasy and romance. The two series garnered over 185 million views and created continuous trending topics about Macao among audiences in Indonesia, Thailand and other regions in Southeast Asia. The Office also collaborated with Alan Chikin Chow, the prominent creator of the most viewed YouTube Shorts in the world, in launching a creative mini drama series last year. Through witty narration, the series presented Macao’s charm to the Generation Z audience worldwide, appealing to young international travelers and gaining over 22 million views globally.

MGTO will continue to foster creative productions on social media and expand the spectrum of languages and promotional angles. The marketing potential of “mini drama series + travel experiences” will be explored in more overseas markets to engage overseas audiences through content and style oriented towards the new generation. Innovative online content and cross-cultural narration will be harnessed to brand Macao as an ideal destination in international markets and boost visitor arrivals.
